Beginning as a freelance copywriter for Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York, I progressed to creative direction and eventually ran the boutique agency Willoughby Partners for five years overseeing all the creative, client and managerial operations.

Brand Ventriloquist 

Since 1999, I've helped companies and institutions re-architect and express their brands through the lens of storytelling. Clients have included large corporations such as Thomson Reuters, Nomura and Barclays as well as smaller entities like JConnelly and Downey Side.

Whatever the scale of the challenge, my role has been to understand the business landscape and goals then translate these to creative teams while guiding both groups toward a new look and feel that captures the personality of the organization in a fresh way.
